The Click Five concert yesterday was just about the worst and best concert i've ever been to.it's so hard to decide if it was worth my money or not. we queued in line for about 10 hours and made some really cool friends who were all really surprised that i was much older than them.hehehe.what can i say, i look young =)
but once we got inside, the crowd kept pushing and it was so horrible! me and Jo were in the front and somehow got pushed back to the middle.i was particularly upset when they played empty cos it was my favourite song but all i saw was HAIR! i've always wanted to watch kyle perform that song so badly but my only chance was missed cos of all the other fangirls who kept pushing their way to the front.
then we managed to find zhiyi, jessie and syaza and i was thinking "screw it, if i'm not gonna be able to see the band, i might as well have my own fun!" so we started dancing and jumpig like idiots and just had a blast.but i still wish that i had been able to watch the band perform.
from the very few times i managed to see any of their faces, i saw ben shaking his bootay, joey's gorgeous blue eyes, ethan wonderful bass skills which totally got me grooving, joe's awesome guitar solos and of course, my dear KP looking as fabulous as ever!
i just wish that i was able to come out of that concert feeling more satisfied than i did. i love the click five the most but the crowd around me made me feel that the FOB and MCR shows as well as singfest were waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than last night's show.but the guys were absolutely awesome!

Although yesterday didn't go in our direction, you guys are still the apple of my eye. You made me so damn proud and i felt like crying after your performance. Do not doubt your abilities because frankly, you guys were excellent!
Deyi was very deserving of their title as a Best Display Band and you guys were not far behind. Let us all stop crying and smile, knowing that better things will come our way. Let us all work hard together and bring the title home in 2010.
We have been the Best Display band in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006. That is 10 years of excellence. Which other bands out there can say that? which other bands can say "Hey, with only 4 months of practice, we achieved a Gold With Honours!"?
It pretty much sucks to lose this battle, but as Azlan mentioned last night, You are the Stars in our universe. Without you, there will be NO TK Band.
Time to smile now, people. We have a bright future to look forward to.

hello to the facebook. :) i'm kyle
i've been going crazy over the past few weeks. i was in charleston recording some new songs in a cathedral and it was insane. such a great time. Had friends along.. (much thanks to Billy, Alex, Ben, and Josh for helping me set it up and make it happen).
Now i'm getting ready for my sister's wedding next month, whoa. it's gonna be cooool. she's very happy.
after that i'm playing a couple solo songwriter shows with friends:

this past week was insane! but "i get by with a little help from my friends" as quoted by the Beatles =)
i bought myself a Silverstein tee and may i say that it's damn nice =D
i also bought Maya a TBS tee.sorry babe.you have to wait a little longer before i ship it to you.and lastly, i bought the new Simple Plan album.the one that comes with a dvd, since they only have M-size tees. and it was damn funny! David can't stop criticizing Chuck's singing.i shall watch it again!
sometimes when life is dull or doesn't go your way, the best way to deal with it is to have something to look forward to.even if its just a short nap or buying a magazine.it always keeps me going. |

i have succeeded in staying away from the computer for 4 days! ( i know.wow right?)
so this week is friendship week.my daily routine was leave school at 7 plus.reached home at 8.baked brownies.sleep at 11.wake up at 3 to study.and still manage to pay attention in class (well, most of the time at least!) i feel so accomplished! except today, i switched off my alarm instead of pressing the snooze button.so i woke up at 5.30.which is LATE! cos i had to be in school by 6.20 =(
tied over a hundred balloons for about an hour till i got blisters on my fingers.at least James gave me the title the title "balloon girl" -.-" since i tied the balloons pretty quickly ( James couldn't beat me no matter how many times he tried ), many people asked if i had experience working in a circus giving out free balloons. wtf.
so today was the best v-day EVER! although i didn't get a date ( just like the past 16 yrs! ) i still wanna thank god and cupid for giving me the best friends in the world! i could never be more grateful for all the effort put in to make those wonderful gifts! even a small piece of sweet or chocolate counts!
the gifts included 5 roses, many containers or cookies, 2 muffins, a balloon sculpture, and LOTS of sweet stuff.i swear, i'm gonna grow fatter!!
thank you to everyone who contributed to the make-Astrid-fat food drive.this has been the best v-day ever!love all of you!

Went to Chee Keen's place yesterday and i had a hell of a good time ;) basically, we played Wii, ate KFC, played Wii again, took photos on the rooftop, played Wii some more, ordered pizza, walked to collect the pizza, walk past a cemetry, ate the pizza, played cards, took more photos and went home. and all that happened in about 7 hours!  thanks for yesterday guys =) |
